Any suggestions on what can be done for people that don't really smash anymore?

I am going to be working on forming a ssbfc destruction committee. anyone dedicated to making this sites impending doom happen faster pm me.

We can message them here, be their friends etc so they have someone to talk to while they visit every once in a while.

Have a password-protected forum so that only a few fuckers can post in it. That'll boost activity for non-smashers and smashers alike. Nothing communicates "welcoming community" like a password-protected part of the website.

Honestly the ironic part about this sites decline is that the people who act like they are the ones helping are honestly pretty useless when it comes to keeping this doomed ship afloat. We had a more active chat for like a week and that was okay but it's not enough to "save" this place. Threads are made that are about smash and no one wants to discuss or talk about it. My thread about zero and his take on bayo only had 2 post on it. One of them made almost no sense and honestly reminded me of something i'd say to be funny and confuse people. That's a major issue on a SMASH BROS forum. You log onto chat and you can't find anyone willing to actually play smash with you. The crazy thing is that either non smash and Stupid troll threads are the only ones that get any kinda traction and that's a flashy neon sign that it's over. Find another forum cuz nostalgia fight club is doomed to continue it's sad existence like a deer that's been hit by a car and has stumbled into the woods where it will eventually die an unimportant death.

I know most of you delusional people think that this place is great and all, but look at it as someone who just joined the site. Why stay? Someone actually tell me why you would stay.

The Discord chat is still active as far as I was aware. And a place doesn't stop being great just because it has less activity, the people are still the same people they were before and there are new members that stay, or at least some of the newer members have stayed in contact with me
