Hey, everyone. I just 100%'d Super Mario Bros. Wonder and was wondering everyone's thoughts. Personally, I think this might be one of the best 2D Mario games ever. I think it even contends with some of the originals that everyone holds in high regard. I will say, there aren't too many hard levels, but I think this game has some of the hardest levels I've played in any mainline 2D Mario game. Namely, the Special World Levels "Fluff-Puff Peaks Special Climb to the Beat" and "The Final-Final Test Badge Marathon." I also think that this has some of the most memorable levels including the first world's "Piranha Plants on Parade," "Bulrush Express," and basically anything with unique enemies/transformations. I had the most fun playing this 2D Mario game and was just curious as to what everyone's thoughts were in general.

I was debating getting it, glad to hear that it has some tough platforming. Usually the issue with Nintendo games anymore is that they're too easy. The whole wonder mechanic looked fun too. Also happy that you can play the game as any character, though I wish Nintendo was more liberal with their costumes/skins.

I'll probably pick the game up at some point. I've also been meaning to play Metroid Dread cause I've only heard good things about it too.

Metroid Dread was also really fun. It was my first 2D Metroid, so I can't really compare it to anything. Also with Wonder, there are a lot of new enemies, so it felt like a fresh take.
