QOTD #2: Did you switch characters from Sm4sh to Smash Ultimate?

I didn't play Ultimate for long, quitting in 01/2019. The characters I played the most in Ultimate were Fox and Ken. The few times that I've played since I stopped, I enjoyed playing Terry. With fighting games in general, I agree that the feel of the character is very important for enjoyment so generally I switch characters based on how much fun they are, and typically that means they're high-top tier with lots of tools.

My Character Usage Ordered Chronologically:

64: Uncertain (Didn't play long enough to stick with a character.)
Brawl: Toon Link, Lucas (Haven't played base Brawl since I was a child so I don't even know who I'd play anymore.)
Wii U: Cloud, Ryu, (Corrin Pre-Patch)
Ultimate: Terry, Fox, Ken
Melee: Falco

(Size = Time spent; Bigger Text = Big Playtime)

Melee: Mewtwo (LOL)

I haven’t played smash 4 in so long, I forgot I used Doc Mario. (Player database reminded me lol) But he was one of my favs
Ultimate came around and i kinda just gravitated towards Incineroar, while also unknowingly dragging doc along as my submain.
I still try other characters like Roy, Corrin, and Wario, but Incin/ Doc are my 2 rn.

Incin do be a fun character, SkyJay VS Riddles at Collision is easily one of my Top 5 sets of Ult.

I still play Falco from S4 to ult, but I told myself when I saw ults reveal trailer I'd be a Snake main and I still am

Now that bowsers actually a decent character I've dropped him for Ridley. I can only main a low mid tier at best.

The actual answer is that I wanted Ridley in since Brawl and when I tried him out I had a lot of fun playing him. Just switched to ridley main Bowser secondary at the start of ultimate.

I still kept Zelda as a secondary throughout 4 and Ultimate. As there was a point in 4 where I considered Pikachu a co-main, but that was short lived.
