I imagine people have heard of it, but if you haven't. Nintendo released a console in the past called the Virtual Boy. This headset was early 3D/VR software, with the caveat that everything gave a red hue as shown below.




Yeah, sales weren't very well and it had a notoriously short life-cycle. Anyway... getting onto today's QOTD. If you had to pick 1 color that everything would turn into (it would be different hues of a color, so if you picked green you would see regular green, darker colored items would be dark green, brighter colors would be represented by bright green etc.) what would that color be?

I would probably pick the blue color family as it's my favorite color, although if I did grey I imagine that would be the smartest choice. What color would you subject yourself to looking at for the rest of your life?

I’m colorblind as fuck, so I’m screwed with red, green, blue, and purple. That being said, red is my favorite color, so red I guess lol

I don't think grey would pop out enough from the black for the 3D effect. It needs to be a bright colour, like red. The Nintendo logo and Mario's hat are also both red. 3D Glasses from the time also used a Red lens and a Blue lens, so there's probably some science that says "red is good for 3D". Maybe they could have used blue, but for Nintendo's brand image red makes the most sense

Can I choose gray? Something to maybe like, dull colors out? It be like my phones brightness slider.
