Breaking News: Masahiro Sakurai announces that Fighters Pass 3 will release for Smash Ultimate and you're in charge. You get 5 new DLC characters, you can pick whoever you like as long as they're not already in Smash as a playable character and you respect Sakurai's rule of it being a video game-originating character (sorry no Spongebob or Goku here). Who do you pick?

For me I'm going to go with:
-Urshifu (I'm all for a new Pokemon that doesn't fit the starter type trend)
-Crash Bandicoot (He might play a little too much like Incin, but I feel like he has earned his spot in the cast from his video gaming history)
-Bandana Dee (Give me another Kirby rep and I feel he is very fitting)
-Black Shadow (Need a new F-Zero rep? Need another villain? Well how about I introduce you to Black Shadow someone who meets both of these criteria. In game there might not be much to him; however if Sakurai made Wii Fit Trainer work he can make Black Shadow work).
-Lara Croft (I'm not saying we need a new female rep per say, but considering how long Lara Croft has been around I feel she has earned a spot. I feel a Tomb Raider character would be funny in Smash also).

What about you? Which 5 DLC characters would you add into the game?

-Max/Monica from Dark Cloud 2. Max has a gun and wrench, what more do you want. Amulet to swap to Monica, who has sword and ranged/slow magic projectiles.
-Sekiro. Need a From Soft representation and Sekiro has great ninja tool arsenal and of course parry
-Cuphead. Already a fun 2D platform character, would be easy addition?
-2B. Variety of weapons to choose for different smash attacks, Yoko Taro assist trophy who random chance to give more Nier lore
-Jinx.

I’m responding to this simply as who I would personally want. I got what I (realistically) wanted from the previous fighter passes (Joker & Pyra). I don’t care which characters would sell.
-Monokuma (Danganronpa): the unrealistic character I wanted; another visual novel character in a fighting game would be cool.
-Elma (Xenoblade Chronicles X): another unrealistic wish from me, but idc.
-Ann Takamaki (Persona 5): I don’t think this needs explanation...
-Hat Kid (A Hat in Time): really cool options for movesets plus a cool indie rep. Play this game.
-For this last one, I don’t have anything. Uhh...a new generation Pokemon, Alear (FE:Engage), Putt Putt, Crash, Lara Croft, Master Chief, Kratos, Geralt (Witcher), or Scorpion (MK) are some I’d be okay with.

Cuphead, 2B, and Jinx do be banger choices.

Yeah tbh I was happy with the roster pre-launch Ult so anything else is jus ta bonus for me. Hat Kid would be interesting.

Zero and Meowscarada are my dream realistic characters.

Go'el Thrall being my dream unrealistic one.

Edit: I'm meant to pretend I like Castlevania so uh Alucard let's go that mod was sick lmao.
